I wrote my own songs and produced them myself through fl studio. you don’t have to do either but you do have to own the rights and/or licenses to the mp3 or wav files. I didn’t use any samples either. You can use samples but you need the rights and or licensees to them !
You and I both are the creators and / or own the rights to the mp3 or wav file !
Now we need to distribute them ! Tell your friends about it and post them on Soundcloud , YouTube, BandCamp, etc, where ever its easy to just upload the files !( for youtube and others you have to convert your mp3 to an mp4 or video file so add a picture or video with an editor of your choice and upload them. )
Now that the easy and FREE ways to distribute are done, you and I both have to decide whether we want to make an investment and pay to put our music on premium streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, and Pandora.
YES! OUR SONGS NEED TO BE HEARD AND WE HAVE THE MONEY ( at least $20 dollars for the first year ) AND OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE MP3 OR WAV FILE AND THE ALBUM ART !

With CD Baby you just have to pay once. Its around $40 and they help you put music up and collect the money . They take take a cut which is 15% . You get the rest which is 85%.
With Distro Kid you have to pay $20 every year you want your music to be on streaming services. You get 100% of the money it makes .
